You´re one of the few people in the entire universe, who actually dare to face the aliens. You hunt them, especially those big Hulks, which provide fine meat, virtually fat free.
The price is high for the meat, but so is the danger and the terror you have to face.
´The Hulk Farm ´ is the beginning of your crusade for justice and revenge.
You are determined to have your revenge for the mean surprise attack on civilian Marathon by the alien slavers, where your family was killed, or worse, taken away as slaves. Whatever, you never found out what actually happend to your people.
Your inside is empty since. More empty than the vast, endless void of the universe. Except for a burning streak of hatred which fills your soul.
Vague hope drives you on an endless journey through the universe. Are you going to find your family? Anyway, You cover the tracks of the aliens and wherever you find them you go in for the kill.
The emptiness of the universe is not as cold as your inside since the horrible days on the Marathon. But it seems, that the aliens and you built up some kind of hate-hate relationship which subtitutes your family. No, you do not longer feel at home without the danger and terror the aliens spread around them. So you seek for the least signs of alien presence, desperately trying to fill your inner void.
That makes you the perfect Killer, a killing machine. You know, despair is the real reason for heroism.
So you became the first among the Marathon veterans, whose names are held in honour and awe.
The people call you Marathonian, the Hulk Hunter, because once, you killed one of the big, nasty buggers with your fist only. Still young, you already became a legend throughout the universe and the kids in all parts of the universe play Aliens and Hulk Hunter after school.
Since the days of war against the insectlike black alien breed, there was no alien hunter greater than you. None was ever more feared by the aliens........
Stories of your mighty deeds float through the universe.
Do you remember the one about the Hulk Farm in quadrant ∫400fu93-4c0k81h-e1r8634/∫b4lo2-w4m3e56-44bi55t3ch? Christ, That was a biggy...
(The scenery becomes cloudy around the edges. You loose yourself in memories...)
The Hulk Farm
On your endless search, you found an alien ship parked nearby one of the secret alien Hulk farms. You send in some of your Defense Drones to check out what the score is. The aliens find them and detect your ship. The arrival of you, Marathonian the Hulk Hunter, scares the shit out of the alien scum...
So, desperate in their fear, they let their cattle loose. You go in for the hunt, and find yourself confronted with a stampede of Hulks, which stomp through the corridors and breeding halls in panic. Your Defense Drones do not prove to be very effektive against the thick skinned Hulks, so you expect to face the whole alien breed alone......
Before you beamed down to the Hulk Farm, you prepared yourself for the fight. You set your material teleporter to auto-mode to provide yourself with endless amounts of amunition.
Afterwards, you knew that this precaution saved your life.
And the alien scum was not at all stupid anymore. They teleported down two Hulks for each you slaughtered.....
Soon you will find, that the overwhelming number of aliens turns your hunting trip more and more into a struggle for survival. Will you prove yourself fit enough to carry on with your personal evolution? Or will you end up very dead indeed?

Marathonians!
Put The Hulk Farm file in your Marathon folder, store your original map file somewhere safe and rename The Hulk Farm . Why not Call it map?
The Hulk Farm was meant to be a single player Marathon Map but I reckon, it´ll do just fine in fierce network battles as well (You have to set up the necessary adaptations by yourself, allright.)
Now, for the less poetic, a short translation of the story board:
The sodding alien breed is out to get you. What are you going to do about it? Take the shit?
No way! Face the battle! Pay those buggers back with lead. Let´s kick ass. No regret. No sweat. To put it very simple: Just kill´em all.
For the few on earth, who actually think before they start shooting and waging wars:
Actually, those alien bastards long to die! It will help them to reincarnate as anything, but an alien of their own kind. So, by killing them, you´re doing them a favour.
For those people, who do not think before starting to shoot :
This is just a computer game. An excellent one, but nevertheless just generating a virtual reality. So, do not try this at home!
